Registration 2025-26
Registration will open April 10 for the 2024-25 dance season for returning students, and May 1 for new students. Returning students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of our discounts and register early as classes will close when they become full. Returning students will only be guaranteed placement during April 12-30.

LATE REGISTRATION Aug 25-Sept 15
Dancers paying monthly installments will have the total year price divided into 9 installements instead of 10 as the next payment date is Sept 1. There is not change in the full year price for dancers who register late. **If any space remains in classes after Sept 15, pricing will be determined by the number of remaining weeks and a $25 late registration fee will be added. Competitive classes CLOSE completely for registration Sept 30.
ADD/DROP - please note that no discounts will be applied to added classes after discount deadlines have ended. If dancers decided to drop a class after the end of regular registration (Aug 25) there will be no credits issued for these fees.
Dancers competing under Dance Artistry may not compete with any other dance studios. Dancers who are part of other competitive studios are welcome to attend our non-competitive programs, summer classes, camps, and anything else offered outside of competitive classes. *Effective Sept 2025*
SUMMER PROGRAMS
Classes are open to age 18m-Adult and all levels of experience. Dancers who attend other studios are welcome to take our summer programs regardless of whether they will be dancing at Dance Artistry in the fall.
FALL PROGRAMS
(Competitive/Recreational) Sept-May 2025-26
Our pricing will continue to be based on 30 classes for the year. Weekly classes will be scheduled between Sept 1- May 31 with a recital scheduled in early June. Payments are based on a full year total but may be divided into 10 monthly instalments. In this case, the first installment will be paid as a registration fee and the second installment will be due Sept 1, 2025. Dancers who are registered late will have only 9 installments as the full year total does not change.

OUR PROGRAMS
Baby Ballet
BB introduces dance technique, class structure, and creative movement to dancers age 18m-3 with a 30 min class done with a participating parent.
Introduction to Dance
ITD is a structured and progressive program for age 3-6 incorporating ballet/jazz technique, basic terminology, stretching, songs, discipline, and creative movement. Dancers will be placed in ITD 1 or 2 depending on age.
Mini Sparklers
The first step into competitive dance. Mini Sparklers have the option compete in local competitions. Includes jazz and ballet.
Mini Stars
Mini Stars is a competitive level including Jazz and Lyrical. MS compete in all local competitions and have the option for 1-2 travel competitions.
Beginner / Intermediate Dance
This class is for older dancers with less than 5 full years dance training. It is designed to transition dancers into more advanced classes with their age group while allowing dancers to compete at the appropriate level. This level offers jazz, lyrical, and hip hop.
Competitive Levels
Various classes are offered for competitive dancers including jazz, lyrical, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, pointe, and acro. These classes must be paired with a competitive technique class as well as a ballet exam class for certain levels. Please see the competitive section of our website for more info on these programs.
Acrobatics
Includes contortion, tumbling, strength, balance, flexibility, and artistic movements. Classes are taught in multi level format to allow students to progress at their own pace .
Flexibility/Stretch and Strength
Our flexibility program will follow the Alixa flexibility progressions focusing on building strength, control, alignment, body awareness, mobility, and injury prevention. This program supports students who struggle to progress as well as those with hyper-mobility. Stretch and Strength includes additional exercises for power and control.
Legs & Feet
This class focuses on turnout, foot flexibility, placement, alignment, and length through the legs.
Ballet Examination Classes
We encourage all of our dancers to participate in our CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) Ballet Examinations as ballet is the foundation of all other styles of dance. We are able to offer all levels from Primary to Advanced. If your level is not shown on the schedule of classes offered it may be added.
Exams are taken in February and awards are presented to top marks at our end of year recital.
***HIGHEST MARK OVERALL will receive a full year scholarship to Dance Artistry for the following dance year.
Adult Classes
Various adult classes are offered to dancers age 18+ throughout the year. We also offer an adult competitive option for dancers with previous experience who would like to return to the stage.
